Who We Are at Preferred Pump & Equipment

Preferred Pump & Equipment, L.P. is the leading wholesale distributor of domestic water system products in the United States. We sell water products to water well drillers, pump installers, dealers, and contractors. Preferred Pump & Equipment was founded in 1982 when Randy Lyne started his own distribution company in Dallas, TX, which was later relocated to Fort Worth. Over the next six years, the company expanded across Texas, establishing branches in Tyler, San Antonio, and Houston. During the last two decades, the company has experienced phenomenal growth, with branches now located from the Eastern Seaboard to California and the Pacific Northwest, and from the Texas Gulf Coast to Minnesota.
